The MWSU Spirit Team is a newer program at the university. We have combined the dance and cheer team into a spirit team to represent our university by promoting school spirit. We perform at home football games, men's/women's basketball games, post-season travel, and more. We compete at Innovative Open Championship, DTU Regionals and plan on competing next year! Last, year we received 1st place in pom and 1st place in contemporary at DTU and 4th in pom and 3rd in jazz at the Open Championship. We are utilizing a recruitment-based model for our team auditions.
