Innovative Choreography is thrilled to be partnering with the Olathe East Talons to bring a collegiate dance combine to the Kansas City area this spring.  Colleges and universities from the midwest will be in attendance to recruit and represent their programs.

BACK in 2025:   Compete your solo at The Open Championship during the morning before the Spring Innovative College Combine. The Open Championship is a college dance team competition. We will record your solo and share it with college coaches. You will also receive audio feedback from 3 judges. The Open Championship will begin at approximately 10am. Solo entry is $45 if registered by 12/16/24 or $50 if registered by 2/10/25 (registration after 2/10/25 does not guarantee a solo performance).

 

Innovative Choreography faculty members will teach technique, a pom sideline, and a hip hop combination. Everything will be taught live at the combine. Participants will have an opportunity to demonstrate each routine for the collegiate coaches.  Throughout the day, dancers will interact with coaches through scheduled mingle sessions.  Additionally, all participants will be provided a list of coaches and contact information.  Likewise, all coaches will be provided a list of participants and contact information.

The combine is closed to the public/spectators.  High school coaches may register to attend.
